Cotton dress whose pink background is punctuated by lines of tiny green leaves forming squares in the center of which sit red cherries. The small tone-on-tone piped yoke of the bodice supports the flat back and the three folds lying on each side of the button placket. The four panels of the gathered skirt are mounted on a belt that structures the dress fully lined in ecru cotton voile. The gathers at the head of the sleeves give the fullness that is repeated at the wrists similar to the belt, the little frilly more. The shirt collar is embroidered with floral motifs and blue and red foliage and enlarged by a scalloped ecru flounce and bordered with navy blue satin stitch.
